To promote inter-religious dialogue, raise awareness of one’s own identity and culture and to cross borders to other traditions, languages and mentalities by involving actively with participants from other countries.
"Some call it Europe, we call it Home" is a multilateral youth exchange and will be organised in Agros viIlage – Cyprus. It's aim is the cultural diversity, inter-religious dialogue and empowerment of youth from various social, religious, cultural and ethno-racial backgrounds.
The project would provide young people with social tools and skills and would help to raise the awareness for their cultural diverse surroundings, to find out and understand the differences as well as to be proud to except their cultural and personal identity.
The participants will deepen their knowledge on the subject of intercultural and non-formal learning, draw a map of existing attitudes towards non-formal intercultural learning as achieved through cross-border volunteering. They will as well explore the values and impact of intercultural non-formal learning and volunteering and share best practices of promoting and increasing visibility of intercultural learning and volunteering as well as develop new practices. The opportunities of using Youthpass in ERASMUS+ activities as a tool for self-reflection and evaluation will also be discussed. By working, creating and cooperating together our participants will become more aware of cultural diversity in Europe. The working programme uses informal learning in form of discussing, games, group activities. Through this, they will experience a new way of discovering their own history. In turn, these young people will act as multipliers among their cohorts who in the long run will become better citizens.
Each national team (participants) will be responsible for preparing several games and lead one or two thematic sessions during the project. During the APV meeting in March 2018 group leaders will split tasks/sessions between national teams. Based on task division group leaders will prepare participants before departure.
Team leaders will be responsible for their group and their needs, and help facilitate whole project by giving advices, coordinating communication between us, project organizers and participants.

• be 18-30 years old (for the participants, no age limit for the group leader)
team leader should have experience in non-formal education, international projects, be able to participate in APV during 16-18 March 2018 and YE itself
• be interested in the main topic of the YE
• have good English language skills in order to achieve the objectives of the activities
• be able to write a report in English and Ukrainian after the project is over
• to have international biometric passport
The project is financed by Erasmus+ Programme:
Travel costs are 100 % covered within the limit according to the rules of Erasmus+ proramme (up to 275 euro)
Food and accommodation will be covered for the entire project - 100%
Fee - 30 euros
